Best Practice
- Cost savings and effective solutions all form
part of the service provided by AXIS. Problem solving
and practical advice on on-site wastes management
give customers the benefits of a real choice. By offering
and providing smaller containers (1100 litre) at the
source of wastes arising, and the provision of a static
waste compaction unit fitted with a small container
handling facility, AXIS mechanised the removal of
wastes utilising existing forklifts, freed up employees
time to be more productive, increased space within
a confined distribution area, eliminated unsightly
excess waste spilling from open containers, reducing
the risk of fire, wind blown litter and access by
vermin
